Thank you for stopping by. We are just beginning our journey to provide quality, thoughtful, supportive, useful, and educational materials for living and working. While I was in Egypt I was not finding any good American-style calendars, I needed to make an English calendar, and this is how the journey began. I used the heck of out my purple weekly monthly calendar I bought every year, and hand-wrote all kinds of things in my calendar. This year my homemade calendar was filled with all kinds of things! I started a health program of eating sensibly, mostly keto and an intermittent fasting schedule and checking blood sugars and ketone levels, and those readings were recorded in my calendar. I saved non-essential non-game over passcodes, I used the blank pages of my calendar for goals, measurements, movie reviews, monthly budgets, expenses, payment records, important garden priority dates, contacts, and birthdays. Fast forward a few months, and I was looking for a perfect job to work from home during the pandemic and not finding anything that didn’t require me to have reliable internet between 9 and 5 Eastern time, I decided to start writing the low content informational calendars, children’s books, and educational guides I have in my head.
I got the idea when I found an archived copy of a garden priority support calendar I produced in 2013 (thanks Cloud) and started revamping it. I used to work at United Parcel Service where we counted everyone’s moves by the second or minute, I was a caregiver and had many medical details that needed to be written down, I was a real estate broker which required many steps to complete a sale with all paperwork in order and checked off to get paid especially for short sales, and pre-foreclosure sales. I specialized in corporate and pre-foreclosure real estate which required counseling as to budget and if the keeping the house was, the steps needed to loan modify or sell if needed. With all this experience, I have a weird passion for getting details together and leaving written paper trails and once I found the calendar I produced, my creative juices started to flow in all different directions. During the pandemic, I watercolor painted over 100 paintings. Our last name translates to Magnificent and that’s how the name was conceived, and Medias just about covers the cornucopia of ideas I want to get into print or online media and the combo of the two names was available pretty much everywhere for email and the website name.
I don’t use my phone like most people. I have used a computer for many years, and I do not get a great experience using phone apps because of the small screen for certain things like calendaring. While I love the alarm notifications, I love the planning aspect and the review aspect of my words and record-keeping on paper, in writing.
I hope you enjoy our future products. They are coming soon in the next few weeks and months on Amazon, Kindle, and Etsy. Please feel free to comment on what kind of things you would like to see on an annual calendar planner or what improvements we can make to our current products.
Thanks for your support, Lisa at MagnificentMedias.com
